Effective October 5th, 2015 Mid-Atlantic Entry Systems will be conducting free UL325 and ASTM F2200 safety inspections.  During all service calls repair or preventive maintenance a safety inspection will being conducted at no charge.  Additionally, existing customers and new customers can request a free safety inspection from the service department 800-653-6879.  You don’t have to wait.

UL325 addresses safety standards for automatic gate operators and ASTM F2200 addresses safety standards for the actual gate that is motorized.  Different type gates have specific standards.  The industry will be updating the standards soon and manufacturers are currently modifying products and components for the anticipated changes.

In an effort to get end users ahead of the upcoming changes Mid-Atlantic Entry Systems is offering and providing the free inspections.

The standards are intended to prevent injuries to people.  Full compliance is designed to prevent injury and can limit liability to property managers and end users should an injury occur.

Once the new standards are announced the updates and effective date will be posted to the Mid-Atlantic Entry System website.
