Time really flies when you are having fun. I was at a site of a long-time loyal customer the other day. It was like old home week. A long time ago I sold as many as 8-10 gate operators on this one site. Years have gone by and we had added at least six more machines to the same site. While I was meeting with the customer’s representative, who had only been there 5 years asked me if I had ever been to the site…I explained to him that many years ago I sold all of the operators we were about to talk about.
This meeting got me thinking, Mid-Atlantic Entry System (MAES) will be turning 30 years old in January 2020. In November of this year I will celebrate my 24th working anniversary with MAES. In October, I will celebrate my 4th year as the owner, so yes time really flies by when you are having fun and yes, I am having fun. Over the years, we have gone through some tough times. We lost people for one reason or another, but it also created new opportunities for new talent to come on board. This new talent made MAES stronger than ever. When I look around the office at the people I work with I realize that the people that I need for this company to grow are standing right in front of me.
I have never seen a more loyal group of people in my life and it makes me proud to be a part of this group. I truly feel that everyone I currently work with believes in what we are doing and where we are going. Speaking of where we are going, this company has new talent and skills that make us better and stronger than ever. We have launched our new website and in the coming months we will be publishing our vision for the next three years. This vision will involve all of our current talent and the talent we will attract. We have the best employees and we do the best work; and in the near future it will only get better. Our goal is to provide superior service to our customers.
I look forward to sharing more with you very soon.
